PCT data

The numbers behind the Pacific Crest Trail map, as plain JSON. No key, no sign-up. Use them with a link back to the map page.

• /api/pct/legs.json: the 26 legs I walked in 2021, resupply to resupply, with FarOut trail miles, my tracked miles, days and dates, and the page for each leg.
• /api/pct/points.json: 55 towns, passes and lakes along the line, with trail mile, latitude and longitude, and the trail's height in feet.
• /api/pct/resupply.json: the 64 stops from the vegan resupply guide, with what each town carries, whether to mail a box, and the date each one was last checked. The printable checklist is free when you join the email list.
• /openapi.json: the OpenAPI description of both.

The line and the heights come from FarOut waypoint coordinates. Miles 1,288.8 to 1,345 were closed by the Dixie Fire in 2021. This data is for planning and reference. Navigate with FarOut or the PCTA’s maps.

MCP server

The same data as a read-only MCP server at https://atlasofplantbased.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no key), with four tools: vegan_resupply, find_by_trail_mile, get_pct_leg and list_pct_points. Its card is at /.well-known/mcp/server-card.json, and an agent skill that explains how to use it is listed at /.well-known/agent-skills/index.json.
